There are five opportunities for worship with St. Mark Hope and Peace in the coming days: Worship for Gaudete Sunday (3rd in Advent) Dec. 17 at 10:30am, Holden Evening Prayer Dec. 20 at 6pm, Longest Night Dec. 21 at 5:30pm at Central Presbyterian (3501 Campbell), 4th Sunday in Advent Dec. 24 at 10:30am, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24 at 9pm.
Longest Night
The Longest Night service is sometimes called Blue Christmas. It provides a welcoming space for those who are experiencing grief, sadness, fatigue, and other complicated feelings during the holiday season, and also for those who simply want to step into an hour of quiet and meditative worship in this very busy season.
